Exciting news about the Wild Garden

This afternoon John saw a pair of Tawny Owls sitting on a branch of our largest Oak tree, the one next to Tony's Memorial flower bed.  For many years there has been a large owl box high up in this tree.  The box was placed there by our local land Drainage Board.

I have seen a Tawny Owl just three times, but I regularly hear one at night, so I am hopeful that they are nesting in this particular box.
