Today has been a wonderful reminder that we can expect some good weather occasionally. The sun has been shining all day whilst Reg has continued to clear out the dead wood and overcrowded plants in the wind break border on the northern boundary of the garden around the Cottage.
I was able to take advantage of my new easy access to the decking outside the kitchen, so that I could enjoy a cup of tea in the really pleasant warmth and attempt to record some wonderful colours on film.
John has transplanted the Vinca Major from the raised bed beside the pond in the Courtyard Garden to the bed below the pollarded willows in the Wild Garden, so that I can move my herbs to a position where harvesting them will be easier for me. Soon I will have to decide how to re-use the patchwork bed under the kitchen window, and I know this will be a challenge!
